SALENTO

Torre Suda and Salento

Next to the Salento tourist destination,  there is still a Salento unknown to most visitors, one of the historic centers, of the oil mills, the underground churches, small museums (about 14 just near the VerdeBlu B&B) , Messapic civilization, the Church of Santa Marie delle Grazie in Casarano with fifth-century mosaics, frescoes of the Baronial Palace stables of Matino, or the extraordinary Gothic church of Santa Caterina; all destinations that alone may be worth a visit to Salento, and all just a few kilometers from Torre Suda.
And then there’s the Salento, There is the Salento best known and sought by all: that of the sea and sun, the long sandy beaches with their shores, or the cliffs, like those of Torre Suda where the smells of the sea more; the festival of festivals and music of movide and all it can offer one of the most sought after areas of Italy.

And on the whole, of course, there’s the Salento known and tried by all: that of the sea and sun, the long sandy beaches with their shores, or the cliffs, like those of Torre Suda where you can find the real  smells of the sea; popular festivals and music of movida and all it can offer one of the most sought  areas of Italy.
Torre Suda is something special for its urban plan in which all the houses follow the installation of the first villas of the late XIX – early XX century marked by gardens and trees, maybe a little detached from the summer hustle and bustle but in a stunning location in the center of Salento we have described. So much so, the most famous beaches of Salento are less than a ten minute drive and if you do not want to use your car,  the “Salento in bus service” connects you to Lecce, Gallipoli, Leuca and the rest of Salento.
